Yep, that was just so completely true-to-life–both the writing and the acting. It just goes to show, go for the mundane and the awkward over the mysterious and convoluted and you’ll be making better art (which may also apply to comparing Black Swan Green to Cloud Atlas, for all I know [I haven’t read BSG yet, so that’s just a provocative statement and not an informed critical judgement]).
