One of my favorites that didn’t make anyone’s list is George Orwell. I’m going to see a play of “1984” on Saturday – it’s put on by a troop from San Francisco and directed by Tim Robbins. Have you seen it?
That very same production is headed to our dusty little villa of Sioux Falls later this year. I think I will go see it.
By the way, Orwell is on MY list. I’m not a heathen like Ed. 😉
I guess I missed your list then, Corey, sorry! My boyfriend goes to school in Vermillion, SD and I’m in St. Cloud, MN – I guess the tour is hitting the small town midwestern trail. “1984” seems like a good choice for a cheap play – not a whole lot of set is required, really.
